Kristin Witcher Participates in Hendrix College Theatre Production

2011 Sep 29

The Hendrix College Players presented Hope for the Honeybees on Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24 in Cabe Theatre on the Hendrix campus.

Kristin Witcher of Jonesboro participated as a member of the house and publicity crew. Witcher, a senior psychology major, is the daughter of Chris Witcher and Carla Witcher.

The play, co-sponsored by the Hendrix-Murphy Foundation, is conceived and directed by alumna April Gentry-Sutterfield '01, visiting Murphy director, and written by Hendrix students. In conjunction with the Hendrix-Murphy Foundation's year-long crime theme, the play explores the notion of Colony Collapse Disorder, the phenomenon made manifest by the inexplicable loss of honeybees.
